In the app
Open Account & Settings, tap "Delete account" in the Account section and confirm. For an account with email and password, the app asks for your password for safety.
Without the app
Email support@finallylucid.app with the subject "Delete account", ideally from the address you signed in with. We delete your account without undue delay, at the latest within one month, and confirm by email.
If you signed in with Apple and hid your address, deleting in the app is easiest. By email we otherwise need the relay address Apple created for you.
What gets deleted
Your account with email address, name and sign-in data.
What stays
Your journal on your iPhone stays until you delete it under Account & Settings → Data and Security or remove the app.
Your iCloud backup lives in your own iCloud space. You can delete it in the iPhone Settings under your name → iCloud → Manage Storage.
A subscription doesn't end with the account. Cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
